WELCOME TO TEAM KRAUSE
An official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Our goal is to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer along with generating funds for various organizations that support the research and early
findings of pancreatic cancer. In addition, we support other cancer research organizations along with end of life care facilities for terminally ill
patients. We carry our name because of Mr. Randy Krause, who was diganosed with pancreatic cancer in September of 2014. We plan to strive for greatness and give as much support as possible to detect cancer earlier. Anyone is welcome to carry on these virtues and be apart of our team.
WE ARE TEAM KRAUSE!
At Team Krause, our mission is to raise money for various cancer organizations. We are currently focusing on pancreatic cancer organizations with the vision to expand in the future. Through this
process we are helping families nationwide with terminal cancer. We are trying to expand early detection and help families, who are directly effected by this disease. We help oncology wards along with hospices. As a team we have been effected by cancer in many different types of ways. Our goal is to alleviate this feeling and help anyone who is willing to do the same.
Pancreatic Cancer is the second deadliest cancer in the world. The reason for this is it's late diganosis. Many people do not get diganosed until 5 years out because the symptoms do not show until then. Current research is being done in order to minimze that window and get people the proper treatment they need as soon as possible. This is being done using biomarkers to directly link certain cells to pancreatic cancer. The biomarkers would have the ability to distinguish cancer cells in the duodenum vs. normal cells. This could minimize the diganosis time by years.
